Together We Can is an event for the entire family at Salford Museum and Art Gallery and it’s aimed at those who want to explore creative approaches to living with dementia. It’s for everyone, young, old, and those in the middle.

The day will include films, workshops, art, song, calligraphy and discussions. Mr Alzheimer’s (our dementia mascot) will be hiding in the galleries, Margaret and Barbara will get you thinking about communication through ‘Empowered Conversations – The Musical’ and if it all gets a bit much, you can put your feet up, eat some popcorn and watch a short film about Flippin Calligraphy.

Together We Can is a free event on Saturday 24th March at the Salford Museum and Art Gallery from 11.30am – 3.30pm.

You can register via: or call Age UK Salford Dementia Support Services on 0161 728 2001 to save your place.
The event has been funded by GM Arts and is a collaboration between Salford Community Leisure, Salford Inspire (Age UK Salford) and Greater Manchester Ageing Hub and has been designed and developed by people affected by dementia.
